To Us A Son Is Given – A Daily Advent Reading Guide

To Us A Son Is Given

A Daily Reading Guide for Advent

Advent is the season that we focus on the coming of the Son of God, in the flesh, to rescue sinners like us. Many Christians across the world and throughout history have celebrated Advent as a season of hope, joy, repentance, and anticipation.

This Advent Guide provides twenty-five days of readings, which begin on December 1 and end on Christmas Day. Each day offers a Scripture reading, key takeaway, short reflection and summary of the reading, discussion questions (one for adults and one for kids), a suggested prayer, and a passage for further reading. We’ve also included a list of memory verses and some simple ideas for response at the end of the book.

This guide is simply a tool, so feel free to adapt it as needed. The end goal is to help you engage with Scripture and rejoice in the God who sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, for the salvation of the world.

LESS THAN 1% OF ALL MONEY GIVEN TO MISSIONS GOES TO UNREACHED PEOPLE AND PLACES.

That means that the people with the most urgent spiritual and physical needs on the planet are receiving the least amount of support. Together we can change that!
