  1. HONORING THE PERSECUTED // SPRING BREAK

    In a couple of weeks thousands of colleges students and families will be taking time off for Spring Break. Some will choose to have some fun in the sun while others may choose for a stay-cation. Regardless of the activities you choose for spring break, both time and money will be spent. There is something to be said for taking a break mentally and physically. WORSHIP… By Charlotte Cearley Bare, dusty feet, dancing for joy; hands lifted in praise; voices singing loudly – shouting God’s blessings…Worship.  In an African context worship can take place in interesting places: under a tree, in a mud hut, under a tin roof, in a concrete block building. Whole-hearted worship is one of the things I love about Africa.  When I arrived in Africa, coming from my comfortable Southern Baptist background, I honestly had never thought about worship in a context outside a building, except for recognizing God’s presence as I enjoyed an occasional sunset.
