SECRET CHURCH // SMALL GROUPS

By admin

What exactly is a small group? Some would say that a small group is only 3 or 4 people, others would define small group as 7 or 8 people and still others would say that a small group is anything less than 20 people. I think that the best example of a small group is the group of 12 men that Christ called to follow Him. Christ gathered His small group with two simple yet distinctive words, “Follow Me.”

In Matthew 9:9 Jesus said to Matthew, a tax collector, “Follow Me.” Also in Mark 1:17-18 “Jesus said, ‘Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.’ And immediately they left their nets and followed him.” (ESV) Christ’s Disciples followed immediately when He called them. Recently, Jon Acuff reminded us Christ didn’t just speak these words to the Disciples but He speaks them directly to you and I as we read them.

Regardless of how many you define as a small group the point is that you are apart of a group reading, studying and applying God’s Word daily. The Secret Church team is excited about more than 150 churches registered for the Secret Church Simulcast but we know that the Lord desires to reach more. He desires not just churches but homes and small groups reading and studying His Word for the benefit of His Glory and His Renown.

The Secret Church Simulcast is available for anyone with a home computer and internet connection. Any Small Group of believers can register for Secret Church for as little as $7 per person.
