PERSECUTED CHURCH // EGYPT

In the last month you haven’t been able to turn on the news and not see something about the struggles going on in Egypt. Yet, out of turmoil God is doing something great. Muslims are beginning to turn to their Christian neighbors for help.

This news is significant considering that believers in Egypt have been persecuted for nearly 2,000 years. The battle isn’t over though, Egypt has a population of some 83 plus million people comprised of 39 people groups. Fifty nine percent of these people groups are unreached with the gospel.

Despite what seems like a break, persecution of believers is intensifying. Preferences are given to those who follow the Muslim religion. Please pray for believers in Egypt.

The government and it officials during a time of unrest.
